The Cessna 150 is an American two-seat tricycle gear airplane, designed for flight training, touring and personal use. It is the third most produced civilian plane ever, with 23,839 aircraft produced. The Cessna 150 is simple, robust and easy to fly. For these reasons it has become one of the world's most popular basic trainers. North Queensland Aero Club usually begins training in the 150 or 152 and then moves on to the Cessna 172.

The Cessna 152 is a two-seat, fixed tricycle gear, general aviation airplane, used primarily for flight training, touring, and personal flying. First delivered in 1977 as the 1978 model year, the 152 was a modernization of the proven Cessna 150 design. The 152 was intended to compete with the new Beechcraft Skipper and Piper Tomahawk, both of which were introduced the same year. Additional design goals were to improve useful load through a gross weight increase to 1670 lbs (757 kg), decrease internal and external noise levels and run better on the then newly introduced 100LL fuel

The Cessna 172 Skyhawk is a four-seat, single-engine, high-wing, fixed-wing aircraft. More Cessna 172s have been built than any other aircraft. It is probably the most popular flight training aircraft in the world. Measured by its longevity and popularity, the Cessna 172 is the most successful mass produced light aircraft in history. The first production models were delivered in 1956 and they are still in production as of 2008; more than 43,000 have been built.

As per the other Cessna 172s but with additional major modifications which requires a different licence to fly. It has a different type of propeller; a variable pitch with a constant speed unit which requires an endorsement (extra licence) to fly it.
